A few spaces available
We now have a dedicated events page at the top of this blog so you can see instantly which workshops or guest therapists are due each month. The Mindfulness Days will take a break over the winter so the last chance to attend one and learn some tools to aid relaxation and reduce anxiety is the 16th November.
What is Mindfulness?
In my view it is a state of mind that is achieved by focusing on the present moment. In doing so you are able to accept your feelings, thoughts and emotions in a more calm and centered way so unnecessary and unimportant thoughts fall away so you see more clearly what you actually need to focus on. It’s about being ‘in the moment’ and noticing. So many people end up with physical symptoms to emotional issues and they fail to address until it is too late. The body is an extremely clever mechanism and will give you warning signs to any imbalance. To notice, you have to present. You have to begin understand your body and how it feels. This begins with the breath.
