Mindfulness in a Modern World Workshop

Mindfulness, the new buzz word. How do you do it? What is it? Do you need it? Many people are being sent on Mindfulness courses that run over a period of 8 weeks as an evening class. These are hugely successful, but not suited for everyone due to the time commitment required. This Workshop Day at the beautiful Langford House in Somerset is designed for those who would like an insight into Mindfulness. A way to work with your breath. To be able to recognise stress within you body and deal with it in a gentle way.

The day includes Body Scanning and Breath Work, to notice tension and know how to address it and we explore Mindful Eating and its uses. We practice how to use these techniques in your every day life. There will be a 2 course lunch cooked by Olly the chef, and afternoon tea with cake will be taken at the end of the day. A full manual is included with helpful hints and tips. This is a small group workshop, limited to 10 places, and is is not being run as a group therapy session.
