What is Mindfulness?
I’m often asked…. ‘But what is Mindfulness?’
In my view it is a state of mind that is achieved by focusing on the present moment. In doing so you are able to accept your feelings, thoughts and emotions in a more calm and centered way so unnecessary and unimportant thoughts fall away so you see more clearly what you actually need to focus on. Mindfulness can be practiced anywhere and you don’t need to be sitting on a mossy tuffet wafting incense and chanting! It’s about being ‘in the moment’ and noticing.
The workshops I run are an introduction to this subject. Many participants have found it is all they need to make a change in their life style and reduce their stress levels.

The day is informal and open to all-comers. Full of information, practical tools and exercises, a manual, delicious two course lunch and before you leave, tea and cake.
