Be Authentic. It's the only way...

Do you know what is real and what isn't? Can you tell?
Last week, we went to see the new Mission Impossible film. The second part of his last one ever.
We had great expectations as the previous one was superb, with the usual 'impossible' style running through.
I was instantly interested as the 'New World Order' was mentioned in the first five minutes. Hidden in plain sight. The usual normalising that's been happening over the last five years. The incoming AI.
This isn't a film review in a blog post - although as a MI film, I was very disappointed. They threw everything at it for HOURS - this is about my musings relating to AI while travelling to London for a meeting the day after.
Where ARE we right now?
The film was bothering me. So much so, I had a lightbulb moment while on the train. A download of information that I knew I had to write about. Where are we with all this tech?
If you are using social media, there is a vast normalising of posts that are pure AI. It's so obvious, but the comments are always full of people thinking it's real. I saw one today with a giant octopus that had 'asked to be cleaned'. The comments were all about how wonderful this was. How heart warming. Everyone sucked in to the fact this had actually happened. There were a few comments about it being fake, but not many. When something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.
I think there will soon end up being a division of two worlds. The high tech super computer world, and the energetic frequency aware world, where we awaken to the messages Mother Nature is trying so hard to show us. There has to be a crossover somewhere in the middle. A place where we can use the tech to our advantage, but where we know how to pull back and get back to being human.
I know years ago people would wonder if something had been photoshopped. Easy to spot, and quite amusing, but these days AI is SO clever, things are just seen as normal. Even if we know something is fake, it's readily accepted. This merges with the real world. The tangible world you, as a human being, lives in. The one we feel with our bodies. After all, we can forget that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and we have chosen to be here at this precise time in the evolution of the planet.
We knew this age of super tech was coming, and I understand we need the progress, BUT, we are still human beings and the BEING is slowly (or actually faster than we think) being taken away.
We really need to remain connected to our authentic selves.
My Work is Authentic
Another story running alongside the Mission Impossible AI musing while I was on a train journey through the countryside into the turmoil of the big city.......
A client visited the gallery last week to collect a painting she had purchased a few months ago. I was safely storing it while her house was undergoing renovations. She had seen the piece at the Secrets Exhibition last year and it really spoke to her. She knew she wanted it for her dining room, but after having her new kitchen designed she had opted for more cupboard space, and lost the wall intended for 'Bubbles of Thoughts".
She was so disappointed, we discussed other areas of the home the piece would flow, and the bedroom was the obvious choice. Perfect above the headboard.

This is an instance where a piece of work has literally spoken to the viewer, and the space is then designed around it. This is what I do. Original art that holds a frequency and vibration. It speaks to your soul and changes the energy of a space. Art heals, it communicates with you, and has an incredible power that only some people can resonate with. that's why all art isn't liked by everyone.
This particular client spoke about how important it was for her to have a piece of me in her home, and how prints just aren't the same.
Each piece of original work you purchase has been worked on by the artist. Each brush stroke, knife mark, paint spatter has been created by a real human. There is nothing quite like it.
I have nothing against prints, in fact during Lock Down, I experimented and created four beautiful limited edition prints from pieces in the PAUSE Exhibition. They looked incredible. Just like the originals, but slightly smaller. I sold a few, but they didn't set the world on fire.
I decided to stick to my gut feeling. To move with how I want to create as an artist. I'm always open to new ideas, but ultimately when we are faced with lots of different options, we must come back to our authentic self. Everyone is different. We don't have to be like everyone else, because we are all individuals. I create originals, that's my joy!
If a piece of work calls to you, but the price doesn't fit your pocket, just ask me about options. I can work out a payment plan for you to make the piece more affordable. After all, you can purchase most things in instalments these days!
I Want to Interact With Humans - (and animals)
From the last few days I have made some very specific statements:
I don't want to take online courses run by AI generated robots. I need to feel the energy.
I don't want to scroll through my social media to see things created to confuse and normalise.
I don't want to use ChatGBT to write my blog posts - This is ME typing. Not a robot.
I want to stay connected with the earth.
I want to speak to nature and allow Mother Nature to speak with me.
I want to live alongside the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water.
I want to create from my authentic self.
I want to ensure my legacy is authentically from my heart. Not from an AI perspective.
We need to have discernment and awareness.
I think we are at a turning point. Things are moving very fast. You can be aware of it all, but allow yourself to stay in the physical.
Stay connected in a different way.
