It's TIME.
There are so many things I'd like to say. So many words that could spill out as an excited frenzy, but that would leave you feeling exhausted as you're caught in a whirlwind of exclamation marks!
After the fear and uncertainty of 2020, cumulating in the cosmic alignment on the 21st December, we continue to move in to a New Age. The title that used to be given to hippy, crystal loving, tree hugging people based around Glastonbury, is now being used more widely. Globally, we are all seeing things change at breakneck speed. The Age of Aquarius was just a song to many, until last year. Now, we are in it, and no matter what you feel about astrology, and the world of the woo woo, you can't deny the world as you know it, is changing.
We are human beings experiencing life on this amazing planet.
As an individual, you may be very aware of your spiritual journey, or you may just beginning to feel the energies around you. With so much out there in the way of mindfulness, yoga, meditation, creative writing, art workshops, reiki, self discovery - the list is endless - there are many ways to dip in and see what all the woo woo is about. Or not. If it's not your bag, thats fine too. You may just like colourful, funky art!
Can You Feel it?
To feel the new energies we need to look within, while we allow all we know to be shaken and re-jigged. I don't like saying torn apart, and broken down, like many others - that feels like it's coming from a place of fear, but I guess that's what is happening. Ultimately, it's a time of change, and depending how open you are to new things, you will all perceive things differently. It's all part of being human.
I've Reached my Personal Tipping Point.
I've often referred to it as a signpost moment. That crossroads where you know exactly the road to take. I've had a few in my life, and now I enjoy them rather than being fearful of them. Mine came last week as I was creating a new piece of work that was completely different to any of the upcoming Emerging Collection.
This wasn't a conscious change. I don't wake up and think, 'Oh I know, I'll change my style today'. It just happens. That's what Energy Art is all about. I may create with a size of canvas in mind, but the actual process is a flowing intuitive dance of energies - and it feels SO GOOD!!!
Oops sorry, capital letters AND exclamation marks! I've been seeing lots of repeating numbers - and last week as I completed a new piece, I woke after a vivid dream to 555 on the clock.
"Number 555 is one of the most significant angel numbers. It symbolises a great change and a life transformation. The change will be a positive one with so many important life lessons.
Seeing 555 around us means that there’s no place for fear. Any change that comes our way will be good for us and our growth, in the path to become the best version of ourselves. This number will give us the courage to go forward and embrace that change."

I used to see 3.33 quite a lot during LD1 but that phase has now changed!
This Piece is a Real Changing Point for Me.
I know when a piece is working and is truly powerful, when it has the magic to bring me to tears as I'm painting. This first happened as I was working on World on Fire that was sold at the Pause Exhibition last summer. Painted when Australia was burning and Mother Nature was shouting.
If a piece is painted from the heart, with no mind chatter getting in the way, it just works. BAM!
I'm now creating with a different flow of energy. With the collection you will see next month, things are very soft. Like a chrysalis shining in the the sunshine and then magic happening. Just like with the humans at the moment. As I reached the final piece - THIS happened.
A style change means, 'I'm DONE'.
One Collection is complete, a new phase begins. That's how I work. BAM! (oops, there's another one)
The Next Phase.
A new phase, a new style. Mostly being created outside in nature. A crescendo has been reached, and I've reached that moment where all I believe and all that I have spent my 54 years on the planet becoming, has brought me to a point where I no longer feel the need to push. Over the last year, I feel I have walked my talk and helped those who wanted to ask more. I no longer need to broadcast what I feel about the underlying shit show that's going on around us. It is a whirling dervish all of it's own, but I'm not being pulled into it anymore. I've gone past that. I know what triggers me. I know that the Main Stream Media is only reporting a fraction of what is going on, and I know that more and more people are waking up to that. There is so much censorship in the world, but if you know where to look, you can discover hundreds of other people who resonate the same as you - whichever way you think, believe or live!
So Let's Move On.
It's certainly making us choose how we want to live our lives and who we want to spend time with - and it will be different for everyone! For me, it feels like I'm in warp drive with new projects popping up and being able to reach so many more people with my art through social media, than ever before.
